Dinner for Two at Bay Wolf Restaurant
BayWolf is one of a handful of revered and long-standing restaurants in the East Bay. Following in the tradition of Alice Water's Chez Panisse, owner, Michael Wild, and his partners created a restaurant that features some of rustic dishes of Italy, France and Spain using locally sourced ingredients. It is perhaps most famous for its duck liver flan and Liberty Ranch Duck cooked three ways.
The restaurant is housed in a renovated home on Piedmont Avenue in Oakland. The spacious front porch has been partially enclosed, and is heated during the winter to allow for comfortable al fresco dining year-round. Inside, the house has been divided into two comfortable dining rooms.
