It’s an end-of-year bash by and for Jefferson Elementary’s parents/guardians – a chance to celebrate the contributions of everyone, from those who volunteer countless hours and creativity to those who are happy if they just get their kids to school on time.

Yeah, that’s you somewhere in there. Put on a party dress or some nice duds and get ready to cut a little loose. Local caterers and wineries will keep the food and drinks flowing, and maybe some local talent will sing a few tunes. There will be a silent auction stocked with everything from artwork to events – from a dumpling-making party to a chance to be principal for a day. (It’s actually pretty fun to fight your neighbor for a beautiful hand-crafted tote bag – and win.)

Tickets are on a sliding scale of $15 - $35, but aside from cash, there are many ways to support the event and the school. Do you have something you’d like to
donate to the auction? Can you help set up, clean up, or sell tickets? How about helping to spread the word to other parents? After all, every party needs both master-minds and plenty of rank-and-file folks to do the enjoying.
